After a short night’s sleep in the tents, we rolled up to the pits at Goodwood Raceway to get registered. Fresh Mongol Rally stickers applied and a fairly concrete plan of getting to Amsterdam by that night (hotel already paid for) Genghis Khanada was the first team off the line and flying towards the Chunnel. We were on the train before we knew it and after finally purchasing some chalk that morning we found our first artists who applied and alien and altered Chris’ name to “Christ Bibb”. Once into France, it was a quick stroll through Belgium to check-in at our hotel with minutes to spare. Also, we seem to be bringing a tiny bit of happiness to a lot of people’s day while on the road. It seems that everybody is laughing as they drive by us…errrr…as we go flying past them in the Ole’ Pale Horse.
